APAR status

Error description

  • When a project contained a custom skin, and a Worklight ifix was
    applied, then the custom skin no longer displayed properly.
    Instead, the default skin was used, and a warning was generated:

    "default" skin will be used, because skin name android.phone
    was not found. Add a skin or change android/js/skinLoader.js to
    return existing skin.

Problem conclusion

  • The issue is fixed by changing how Worklight checks for the
    existence of the skin files. After applying the fix to studio,
    the developer would need to delete worklight-android.jar file in
    the Android environment and rebuild the Android environment to
    get the fix for the existing project.
