PI13693: THE INVENTORY FOR COMPONENTS IS SHOWING DELETED OLD ENVIRONMENTS AS ACTIVE.

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The Inventory for Components is showing deleted old environments
    as active.
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    
    1. Create a component and deploy it to a resource
    2. Remove the resource and its agent from Deploy
    3. Go to the Component's Dashboard
    
    Result: The status of the Inventory For Component  is active.
    Users cannot delete the inventory by using "Delete Resource
    Inventory For Component"" step.
    
    The output message shows:
    "Will remove inventory for the following components: xyz
    Deleted all inventory entries that matched the input criteria."
    
    However the component's Dashboard still shows the Inventory as
    Active.
    
    The current documentation does not
    explain when an inventory is set as active; and what
    condition/steps must occur so that users can remove this
    inventory after
    deleting the configured resource.
