Error description

• In IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA), if you attempt to
  perform a Cut ? Paste of text within a table on the Properties ?
  Documentation tab, the 'Cut' icon will become inactive and the
  text will not be cut from the cell.
  
  The following steps reproduce the problem:
  
  1. Add a 2 x 2 table to the Properties ? Documentation field of
  any UML model element
  2. Add some text to one of the table cells and save the changes
  3. Try to Cut the text from the table cell by using either the
  context menu alternative 'Cut' or the CTRL + X button
  
  Expected Result: The text gets cut from the one table cell and
  you will then be able to paste it into another table cell.
  Actual Result: The 'Cut' icon becomes inactive and the text does
  not get cut from the table cell.  You will not be able to paste
  the text into another cell.
  
  Workaround:
  Use the 'Copy' option instead and then delete the text from the
  table cell where you wanted to remove the text.

  User cannot cut text from a table cell. Workaround is to
  copy text first and then delete it in the cell.
  

Problem conclusion

• This action was disabled becaused it messed up the table
  when multiple cells are selected. It should be disable only
  for multi-cell selection and not when only a single cell is
  selected.
