PI13100: Cannot delete an interaction's 'Properties ? General ? Specification' from the 'Properties ? General' tab

APAR status

Error description

• In IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA), it is not possible to
  delete the  'Properties ? General ? Specification' value of an
  interaction and it is not clear why this value is needed in the
  first place.
  
  The following steps reproduce the problem:
  
  1. Select a UML interaction in a RSA model
  2. Go to the interaction's 'Properties' view and select the
  'General' tab
  3. Set the 'Specification' field to an operation of a class
  4. Try to delete or re-set the value of the 'Specification'
  field
  
  Expected Result: The interaction's 'Specification' value can be
  modified or deleted.
  Actual Result: You cannot delete or modify the 'Specification'
  value, once you have set it.
  
  Workaround:
  Remove the operation in Step 3 from the interaction's
  'Properties ? Advanced ? Specification' property.

Problem conclusion

• There should be a button present to delete specification. It
  is present in advanced properties.
