Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.0.1 Changing the text of a protected field that does not contain spaces in BMS Screen Designer, will result in error CRRZB0148E.
Local fix
Problem summary
The validation was incorrectly calculating the column for the field and detected an overlap where it did not exist.
Problem conclusion
The validation logic has been fixed so that false overlaps are not detected. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.0.1.3 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
