APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In certain cases failed objects are not added to pending list.
Because of which the changes made to the objects are reverted
back and attachments are getting removed.

This behavior was found when Rational Change or RTC servers are
down or does not respond, then there will be an error 'Unable to
locate change-request' or 'Unable to locate adapter-item'
reported in RSS log files. For this particular case the objects
involved had failed, but those objects are not added to the
pending records list maintained by RSS.
