Error description

  • With RDS in use, when an empty filter is specified in the groups
    tab of the Manage Users dialog, and a non-empty filter is
    specified in the groups tab, opening the dialog will result in
    DXL and diagnostic log errors.
    
    To recreate:
    
     - setup RDS in local mode and setup your database to use it
     - open the Manage Users dialog and specify a '*' filter in the
    users tab and an empty string in the groups tab.
     - re-open the dialog
    
    To Workaround:
    
    Contact support for a DXL drop-in enforcing a '*' filter

    Fixed in DOORS 9.6 and its a client side fix
    

Problem conclusion

  • Modified DOORS code and also RDS libraries are upgraded in DOORS
    9.6 which solves this problem
