PI08917: Rational Developer for System z (RDz) GRS contention is held if delete of member is attempted and failed multiple times

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v8.5.1.4
  If you attempt to delete a member of a PDS that has settings of
  read only, then the delete fails as it should.  However, if you
  attempt to delete the same member multiple times the GRS
  contention is not always released.
  
  You can display the contention (D GRS) on the member and see
  that the RDz threadpool deamon has a lock on it.
  
  For example,
  MVS D GRS,RES=(*,SYSA.TCPIP.TCPPROF*) will show:
