Error description
Environment: Windows Product name: IBM Rational Business Developer Program Version : 9.0 Description. A JSON error is observed when a webservice returns a float value within a RUI application where the German locale has been applied. In German the decimal numbers are separated by a comma so the EGL runtime then adopts this representation within the JSON answer to a webservice call resulting in an incorrect format with float data types which throws an exception eg: An exception has occurred while calling http://localhost:9087/MyWebservices/restservices/myservices on method: testSmallFloat The body of the request was: {'bindingName':'Imyservices','method':'testSmallFloat','params': []} message:[CRRUI3655E] Fehler bei Verarbeitung des Antwortobjekts: '[CRRUI2089E] Die Konvertierung aus dem JSON-Format '{'result' : 1,23}' war aufgrund von invalid object initializer nicht m?glich.' ServiceKind:REST detail1:200 detail2:OK detail3:{'result' : 1,23} With English locale setting the same call will work correctly. NB: Reported in RBD v90 but its also reproducible with v901. Other languages are also effected where associated with the comma separator for example I see the same error with the French locale.
