* because the status bar has black text on a black background. *

Problem conclusion


    

  • The color of the status bar background has been changed to a
non-black color during the splash screen display.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for fixpack 5.0.6.2,
fixpack 6.0.0.2, and fixpack 6.1.0.1.
