Rational Synchronization Server Fix Pack 5 (1.4.0.5) for 1.4

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The time-zones listed in the RSS UI (Change server settings
  page) shall hold the time-zone displaynames and the time-zone
  ids in the following format: 'time_zone_displayname
  (time_zone_id)'.
  
  If a time-zone has a daylight savings, then the displayname used
  by the time-zone will be different based on the current date
  falling in daylight savings period or not.
  
  For example, for the time-zone id 'US/Michigan', the time-zone
  displayname is 'Eastern Standard Time', but when the current
  time falls in daylight savings period, then the time-zone
  displayname shall be 'Eastern Daylight Time'. The RSS XML file
  shall store the user selected time-zone id and displayname, but
  when the stored time-zone is not present in the list (shown in
  UI) then the first item in the time-zone list shall be shown as
  selected in the UI. This issue is applicable only in UI, when
  the synchronizer runs the user selected time-zone shall be
  picked based on the time-zone id and not based on the
  displayname.
