  Widget using removeAttribute retains previous value.
  
  To set some custom attributes on a widget setAttribute and
  removeAttribute are being used.
  The expectation is that when removing an attribute and querying
  it the returned value will be null but instead the attribute is
  not removed at all and retains it's value.
  
  Example scenario:
  Includes one TextField and the associated attribute.
  When initially displaying the attribute's value it's value
  equals null and when setting the attribute and displaying it's
  value, in this case the time, it is correctly displayed.
  However removing the attribute and displaying it's value once
  again where it should return as null it continues to display the
  previously set value.
