Error description

  • When a SQL C program is compiled with SQL
DEBUG(FORMAT(DWARF),NOHOOK(NOLINE,NOBLOCK,NOPATH,NOCALL,NOFUNC))
It takes the debugger (Debug Tool on z/OS) multiple steps to
step
over 1 SQL statement.

Local fix

  • Use the DB2 precompiler to process the SQL C statements first.
