PI06573: Report Studio: Copy/Paste of SQL Query causes invalid Report Spec - Name of SQL is not unique; causes XQE-PLN-0248 in DQM

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• SQL Objects in Report Studio must have a unique name. When
  creating multiple SQL Queries in Report Studio it is impossible
  to use the same name for SQL objects twice. ??However, when copy
  and paste the Query, than the original name of the SQL object
  will not be changed. This causes the XQE-PLN-0248 error message
  when run the report using the Dynamic Query Mode
  

Local fix

• Make sure that the property "Name" of SQL Objects is unique. Ren
  ame the name after copy/paste a SQL Query.
