Error description

• Headline:
  Unable to do Manual Merge while importing XMI.
  
  Abstract:
  Attempts to do a manual merge while importing does not open does
  not open Diff-merge and overwrites the XMI on to the model.
  
  Error Description:
  When you try to import XMI to a Rhapsody Model and select manual
  merge, Rhapsody does not allows to select manually which
  elements are to be merged and over writes the XMI on to the
  Rhapsody model.
  
  Steps to reproduce
  
  1.   Open a new Rhapsody Project (proj1) and add few classes to
  it (for example Class_A, Class_B,Class_C)
  2.   Export the model to XMI using Tools-?Export XMI from
  Rhapsody. Select 'UML2.1' and  'Export Rhapsody Profiles'
  3.   Now open a new Rhapsody project (proj2) and add few other
  classes (for example Class_D, Class_E)
  4.   Import the XMI exported form the previous model using
  Import-?From OMG UML/ XMI.
  5.   Select the XMI and click next. Then on 'Select Import
  Method' select 'Manual merging'
  
  You shall observe that the XMI is imported automatically.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  There is no known workaround at this time.
