Error description

  • A gradual increase in CHIN CPU usage is noticed and dump review
reveals growth in Subpool 0 Key 8 storage which contains
orphanned XSCS control blocks used for shared channel status.
Change Team finds high CPU is due to a leak of these control
blocks associated with a client connection which connects to
    a shared listener.

When multiplexed SVRCONN channels connected to shared listener
ports disconnect all conversations, the associated XSCS shared
channel status entries are not freed.

Problem conclusion

  • Function rriFreeSess has been changed to check XSCS pointer
associated with primary conversation as well as with the current
conversation before deciding to free the XSCS entry.
