Error description

  • Client is using RSA 8.0.3, they have following issue:

Problem setting install states of multiple selected units



Steps to reproduce



1. Create/open a topology containing two or more units with
different
states (e.g. one set to Installed and the other set to To Be
Installed).


2. With all units selected, change the state of the Installed
unit to
Installed.



3. The expected result is that all selected units are changed to
the
Installed state. Observe however, that the other units are not
changed
because the focused unit is already set to Installed.

When a user selects multiple units and change their install
status through menu action provided on install icon, status
is not changed for some cases.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • For a single selection we compare old install status with
new one. If they are same then install status is not
changed. We need to extend this for each unit in case of
multiselect.
