• Headline:
  Creating statement Diagram in RSA resulted in 'State' entries
  are duplicated in the Palette
  
  Abstract:
  Attempts to create statement Diagram resulted in 'State' entries
  are duplicated in the Palette of IBM Rational Software
  Architect.
  
  Error Description:
  Steps to Reproduce:
  Create new model project by selecting 'Simplified Blank UML
  package' template.
     1. Click New ? Model Project
     2. Select template 'Simplified Blank UML package'
     3. Select the model in Project View and add a Statement
  Diagram
  
  Expected result: All entries in Palette display correctly.
  
  Actual result: 'State' entries are duplicated in the Palette.
  
  WORKAROUND:
  Re-select Package's Capabilities to solve issue.
     1. Click the model Package which has the issue and open
  'Property' view
     2. Click 'Capabilities' tab in 'Property' view and Un-check
  'UML Element Building Blocks'
     3. Re-Check 'UML Element Building Blocks' and save it
  Now you can confirm the palette displays correctly.

  If a StateChart Diagram is created in "Simplified UML
  Package", dupliacte entries of "State" is present in the
  palette and the count increases when we move between
  editors.
  

Problem conclusion

• Duplicated "Ids" were converted to unique Palette entry ids
  and Tool creation handling tool was edit to handle this
  change. This will remove the duplication and increase of
  entries from Palette. This is now corrected.
