Error description

  • When attempting to record/import data for zUnit test case in IBM
Developer for z/OS v15.0.5, the operation fails with a JCL
ERROR caused by "IEFA107I USER001 REPLAY RUNNER BZUPLAY - DATA
SET DATASET.BLAH.BLAH NOT FOUND". In this particular case, IDz
is working against stale local cache and did not detect that the
 dataset DATASET.BLAH.BLAH was already deleted by the system
after seven days.

Problem summary


    

  • ZUnit run test case  for a local project uploads a playback file
 which is stored in the local project to the host, but it could
fail without any notice. It causes a JCLERROR at test case run.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • ZUnit tries to check the playback file existence on the host
before uploading, and it could get a stale catalog information
from the IDz cache. It could cause the issue.

Fix ZUnit to try to force a refresh of the cache at this time.
