Error description
When performing a p2 install of IBM Developer for z (IDZ) 15.0.5 it was discovered that the install will fail once the File Explorer plugin is installed. This failure will result in the following messages being discovered in the install log: org.osgi.service.resolver.ResolutionException: Uses constraint violation. Unable to resolve resource com.ibm.debug.pdt.profile.eclipse [osgi.identity; type="osgi.bundle"; version:Version="1.0.105.202205121926"; osgi.identity="com.ibm.debug.pdt.profile.eclipse"; singleton:="true"] because it is exposed to package 'org.apache.http.impl' from resources org.apache.httpcomponents.httpcore [osgi.identity; type="osgi.bundle"; version:Version="4.4.12.v20200108-1212"; osgi.identity="org.apache.httpcomponents.httpcore"] and org.apache.http [osgi.identity; type="osgi.bundle"; version:Version="4.4.10.v20200227_2112"; osgi.identity="org.apache.http"] via two dependency chains.
Local fix
Problem summary
Installing File Manager plugin with p2 over an IDz product failed with dependency conflicts.
Problem conclusion
An old unnecessary feature was being included in the IDz packaging, that caused the conflict. The feature was removed from the installation package in version 15.0.6 and the installation now succeeds when installing FM over that version.
Temporary fix
