PH49542: DISPLAY CFSTATUS TYPE(BACKUP) RETURNS A BKUPTIME 30 SECONDS EARLIER THAN THE BACKUP CFSTRUCT COMMAND EXECUTION

Error description

• After the BACKUP CFSTRUCT command and a subsequent DISPLAY
  CFSTATUS TYPE(BACKUP) execution, it is possible to see that the
  BKUPTIME contains a time 30 seconds prior to the execution of
  BACKUP CFSTRUCT command.
  
  IBM MQ Development: z/OS Service team has been able to
  determine that this occurs because the value of field is
  incorrectly set from the backup cut-off time that is used to
  determine the messages that are backed-up. This field is
  therefore influenced by the EXCLINT value which is used to
  specify the number of seconds that are used as an exclusion
  time. The default value of this parameter is 30 seconds which
  means the backup would not include the last 30 seconds worth of
  activity for this application-structure before back up started.
  This would also explain why the value of the BKUPTIME was
  exactly 30 seconds prior to the BACKUP CFSTRUCT command.
  
  This field should instead represent the 'end time of the last
  successful backup taken for this application structure.'.

  *                      by the EXCLINT value specified when     *
  *                      the BACKUP CFSTRUCT is issued.          *

  The code which handles the BKUPTIME field incorrectly assigns
  the wrong timing variable.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed to assign the correct timing
  variable so that the BKUPTIME field now displays the end time
  of the last successful backup taken for the structure.
