Error description

• This APAR investigates creation of a diagnostic USERMOD to help
  analyze why instances of MQ incorrectly determined the actual
  state of the SMDS just prior to abending

  *                 Release 3 Modification 0.                    *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 5C6-00C5105B in CSQEDSS2 after    *
  *                      messages offloaded to SMDS are removed  *
  *                      from shared queues.                     *
  *                      The abend is followed by abnormal       *
  *                      queue manager termination S6C6.         *
  ****************************************************************
  While connecting to an application structure containing messages
  offloaded to SMDS on the local queue manager, the state of the
  queue manager's SMDS was incorrectly determined to empty and the
  space map was reinitialised.
  When a messages was later removed from a shared queue on that
  structure, the deferred delete task abended when attempting to
  release the SMDS resources associated with the message due to
  the unexpected space map state.
  

Problem conclusion

• CSQEDSC1 is changed to detect an incorrect empty status for the
  SMDS space map when connecting or disconnecting from the
  structure.
  When the incorrect state is detected, two actions are taken:
  1) A 5C6-00C5105B dump is taken in CSQEDSC1 to aid diagnosing
  the cause of the unexpected state.
  2) The space map is marked as invalid, causing it to be rebuilt
  with the correct state.
