APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • In IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz) v15.0.3 with Engineering
Workflow Management (EWM) installed, if a user build of a
program is run subsequently with a different build definition,
in the generated JCL, the selected build properties is not used.
Instead the build properties of a previous user build for the
same program is used.

The same issue has been observed using IDz v15.0.1

Local fix

  • Start the user build a third time with the build definition of
the second run, OR, manually modify the generated JCL to use the
correct build definition.

Problem summary

  • Wrong properties are used when changing build definition.

Problem conclusion

  • This issue has been resolved.
