PH41143: THE CREATE COMPONENT STEP IN A GENERIC PROCESS DOES NOT INITIALIZE ALL OF THE COMPONENT'S PROPERTIES

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using the Create Component step in a Generic Process to
  create a new Component,
  only the source configuration properties which were given
  explicitly,
  or from the template are set.
  
  Since the plugin default values are not set, this can
  cause exceptions when importing a version of the component.
  
  The default properties should be set when the Component is
  created.
  

Local fix

• Open the new Component in the UI and click Save.
  The UI will update with any missing default values.
