PH38098: IDZ V15.0.1 - ZUNIT GENERATED TESTCASE FAILS COMPILATION WITH RC=12

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In IBM Developer for z/OS V15.0.1, zUnit generated testcase
  fails compilation with rc=12. The listing file of the zUnit
  testcase shows the compilation failed due to the following error
   messages:

  XZ-DD-NEWDD                        44 UND 53
  
   ==000108==> IGYPS0013-E "XZ-DD" was a name that ended with one
  or more hyphens. The hyphens were
                          discarded.
  

Local fix

• As a possible work around, try adding and deleting an empty test
   for the zUnit test case
  

Problem summary

• IDz v15.0.1 zUnit generated testcase fails compilation with
  rc=12 when the test case was created with 14.2.3 earlier and the
   test case is for the program contains file I/O handling.
  

Problem conclusion

• The migration of the old testcase has been corrected so zUnit
  testcase would be generated correctly.
