In the reported issue, the client mentioned that every time a transaction is run, there is a 16K (0x4000) memory that cannot be released. Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: Users running COBOL for AIX programs in CICS and that involve a lot of loading and unloading shared libs might be affected by this issue. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A memory leak is noticed as proper COBOL Runtime cleanup was not being performed.
Problem conclusion
The COBOL Runtime cleanup has been improved to avoid the memory leak.
