Error description

  • IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v15.0
On Eclipse IDE that uses a language other than English, Code
Coverage Import Result Dialog does not appear.

Steps to reproduce:
Open Code Coverage Results view then click Import Code Coverage
Result, no new window popup.

Local fix

  • The workaround is to use IDz Eclipse IDE with English.

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* When run an Eclipse 15.0.0 IDE in a language other than      *
* English, opening the following dialogs: Add Result Location, *
* Export Result, Import Result results in an                   *
* NullPointerException error.                                  *

Problem conclusion

  • The Add Result Location, Export Result, and Import Result
dialogs were updated with correct translated text so that these
dialogs appear without errors.

The problem is fixed in 15.0.1 for the following products:
IBM Debug for z/OS
IBM Developer for z/OS
IBM Developer for z/OS Enterprise Edition
