APAR status

Error description

• When the USEDLQ channel attribute is altered on a cluster
  receiver channel, the value is not replicated across the
  cluster, and so is not  reflected in the corresponding
  cluster queue manager objects.
  .
  Additional information and symptoms:
  As an example, a CLUSRCVR has USEDLQ(NO) set, but due to this
  bug, the auto-defined CLUSSDR still has USEDLQ(YES) as shown
  by the MQ command
    DISPLAY CLUSQMGR(*) CHANNEL(chlname) CLUSTER(clusname) USEDLQ
  .
  Because of this unexpected USEDLQ setting, messages go to the
  Dead Letter Queue ( DLQ ) unexpectedly.

  changed value was not reflected in corresponding
  cluster queue manager objects.
  

Problem conclusion

• The defect has been fixed and the USEDLQ attribute is now
  replicated as necessary through the cluster.
  
  This APAR is a route of IT29944.
