Error description
When using IBM ClearCase ClearTeam Explorer (CTE) in an automatic view, pauses are observed while browsing directories. Further investigation reveals that CTE is actually loading previously-unloaded versions into the Automatic view cleartext caches. The same behavior is observed when performing an "rcleartool ls" operation in an automatic view.
Local fix
None, this behavior is not observed in ClearCase 9.0.1.8.

Problem conclusion
