PH29748: TIMEOUTS DO NOT WORK AS EXPECTED ON TOMCAT WITH JAXWS

Error description

• SOAP services implementing JAX-WS on Tomcat are timing out after
  30 seconds with the following error output:
  org.apache.axis2.transport.http.HTTPSender sendViaPost
  INFO: Unable to sendViaPost to
  url[http://localhost:8080/MyServices/services/SalesOrderInformat
  ionService]
  java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
  
  Apache documentation advises various options to change the
  time-out values ie.
  http://axis.apache.org/axis2/java/core/docs/http-transport.html#
  timeout_config
  http://axis.apache.org/axis2/java/core/docs/axis2config.html
  
  However adding the SO_TIMEOUT and the CONNECTION_TIMEOUT with
  increased values in Tomcat configuration files does not have any
  effect.
