Error description

  • The channel status output for a running MQ SVRCONN channel
returns with an empty MCAUSER property.  This occurs when the
channel negotiates a SHARECNV (conversation sharing) value of
zero (0).

*                      SHARECNV value of zero will have a      *
*                      blank MCAUSER attribute when displayed  *
*                      via the runmqsc DISPLAY CHSTATUS        *
*                      command. (Or by viewing Channel Status  *
*                      in MQ Explorer).                        *

On channel startup, the MCAUSER was not stored correctly by the
rriSetMCAUser routine. As a result, when using the DISPLAY
CHSTATUS command for SVRCONN channels with a SHARECNV value of
0, the MCAUSER was displayed as blank, instead of its actual
value.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code had been added to the rriSetMCAUser routine, to store the
MCAUSER from pCDMCAUserId in the case of non-multiplexed
channels.
