PH26266: DUPLICATE RECORDS FOR MQ ACCT(3) SMF 116 WHEN A THREAD HAS MORE THEN 9 QUEUES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a thread uses more than 9 queues in an interval, some of
  those queues will appear twice in the thread's 116 data for
  that interval.
  All the data elements  (GET counts, PUT counts, elapsed, etc)
  are the same, there are just two WQST DSECTs for the same queue
  for the same interval for the same thread.

  *                      some of the WQ blocks for the           *
  *                      application queues in the SMF data      *
  *                      are duplicated once formatted.          *
  ****************************************************************
  The code that deals with the SMF data was duplicating the
  records. When the SMF buffer is full and we have written out the
  current block the pointer doesn't get moved onto the next
  block. This causes some of the WQ blocks for the application
  queues to be repeated.
  

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed so SMF records are no longer
  duplicated when MQ accesses more than 9 queues.
