PH26110: SSRANGE messages IGZ0304W through IGZ0314W do not show the program name in the CICS environment

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The messages IGZ0304W through IGZ0314W introduced by APAR
  PI72127 were intended to improve SSRANGE messaging by showing
  the program name incurring the SSRANGE condition. While this
  works in the batch environment, in the CICS environment the
  program name is blank.

  When generating code for SSRANGE runtime messages, the compiler
  would sometimes avoid generating code to explicitly set up the
  message insert for the name of the affected program and would
  instead rely on the runtime to fill in the program name value,
  but this method is not always reliable in a CICS environment.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was updated to ensure that the program name message
  insert for SSRANGE-related messages is always explicitly
  specified.
