Error description
When User1 creates a branch which auto-creates a local-copy branch type from a global branch type owned by User2, then the local-copy is owned by User2 (inherited from the global type) but the oplog entry generated by the operation records User1 as the ownerâ . Hence sibling replicas importing the oplog entry get incorrect ownership information for the local-copy type object.
Local fix
Do "cleartool protect -chown User2 [type-selector]" The protect command generates an oplog entry even if the specified owner is already the owner.
