Error description

  • IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v14.2.1
Export runner results as PDF does not works fine even run case
successful with zUnit. Selected "Export runner results as PDF"
after will be generated PDF file size is "0".
No Export Successful message is displayed.

For example, Using following Cobol program will trigger this
issue.
IDENTIFICATION DIVISION.
PROGRAM-ID.         PGM1.
ENVIRONMENT DIVISION.
DATA DIVISION.
WORKING-STORAGE SECTION.
        01 REC1.
           05 ITEM1 PIC X(10).
PROCEDURE DIVISION.
            MOVE 'AAA' TO ITEM1
            MOVE 'BBB' TO ITEM1
            IF ITEM1 = 'BBB'
                DISPLAY 'OK'
            ELSE
                DISPLAY 'NG'
            END-IF
            GOBACK.

Problem summary


    

  • Exporting runner results as PDF was canceled when the IDz client
 could not find the message file corresponding to the locale.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The IDz client was fixed to export PDF properly for the
supported languages. For non-supported languages, PDF written in
 English would be exported.
