PH22029: CURRENT RESOURCE INVENTORY STATUS IS LOST IF DEPLOYMENT FAILS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If there is  failure in deployment, then current resource
  inventory status is lost.
  
  Steps to Reproduce:
  ----------------------------------------
  Create a component "comp1" and a component process "shell".
  Component "comp1" - already has inventory status say "Active".
  create application "app1", environment
  Now run the application "app1"
  Now goto resource tree > agent > component
  
  Now we can see "current Inventory" status with latest Inventory
  
  Change the same component which needs to fail. I used shell
  script with 'aecho "test"' instead of 'echo "test"'
  
  Now we can see "current Inventory" status as "No components have
  been installed to this resource"
