APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When attempting to connect to an SCLM-managed project, the IBM
Developer for z Systems client using the SCLM perspective
displays the progress bar with the details "Connecting to SCLM
via RSE" and "Sending SCLM commands".
However, the process which should be instantaneous takes 5 to 10
minutes to complete.
The connection does complete, but the time to complete is
excessive.

  • SCLM DT login and some activities are extremely slow and
sometimes timeout.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • SCLM DT  is sometimes not detecting the end of an operation, and
 so is waiting for an operation that is already completed.
