  • IBM Developer for System z (IDz) : IDz 14.2 - COBOL EDITOR

The code completion accessible by 'CTL+SPACE' key shows
"No proposal" in the result window when used after a
"MOVE ALL ..." statement or when the cobol variable is entered
Between tags like shown in the examples below.

1- Move all :

     PROCEDURE DIVISION.

		MOVE 'X' TO W-WW00-CBL-VARIA
				==> W-WW00-CBL-VARIABLE proposed

  • The problem was that content assist was not working for MOVE ALL
 and certain types of STRING statements.
