Error description

  • USERS AFFECTED: Users of Enterprise COBOL Vx.x compiling
    programs where a paragraph is PERFORMed multiple times and that
    paragraph, or one it PERFORMs, contains a GOBACK or STOP RUN.
    
    PROBLEM SUMMARY: The compiler was detecting PERFORMs that
    couldn't reach their exit after running some optimizations.
    Those optimizations changed the compiler's internal information
    about PERFORM statements such that some PERFORM statements
    weren't detected as being unable to reach their exit.
    
    CONCLUSION: The compiler was fixed to correct its internal
    information about PERFORM statements.
    
    RECOMMENDATION TO CUSTOMER: Apply the provided PTF
