APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using the Developer for z COBOL Editor to edit a source
    code containing a variable named NX or DSNAME, syntax warnings
    are displayed for each line of code referencing the variable,
    and the status bar Tooling icon shows a warning or error sign.
    Hovering the Tooling icon shows messages:
    "Tooling out of sync due to syntax error" or
    "Tooling failed to initialize due to syntax error".
    
    Workaround:
    None
