Error description

  • IBM Developer for z systems 14.2
After upgrading from IDz 14.1.4 to IDz 14.2, Customer cannot
install his own plugin because the version of the
com.ibm.ftt.projects.zos* jar file has not been incremented.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • For an IDz update scenario, a user experienced problems with the
 bundle, com.ibm.ftt.projects.zos. That is because it did not
increment correctly. In fact, it was actually lower in new
releases of IDz. Fix entailed increasing the bundle version for
14.1.9 and 14.2.1 for the given bundle.
