Error description

  • Steps to recreate the issue :
- Edit the PL/I source from a local project
- Disable capping preference
- Right click in the source -> Source -> Preprocessor statements
-> Identify using Specific Output and select a dek file.
The source code is completely marked as preprocessor Output.
The dek file contains some NULL characters.

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • Our diff tool does not support null characters and generated
unexpected results when they exist.  Logic added to support null
 characters.
