  • IBM Developer for z Systems - IDz - v14.1.7

Description :
When opening IDz V14.1.7 using a workspace from a previous
version, it is observed that some Menu Manager functions are no
longer appearing in any context.
The Menu Selections of Menu Manager preferences shows that all
base and default menus have been removed for all contexts and
reset to "NONE".

Local fix :
Menu Manager settings can be manually exported and re-imported.

  • Menu Manager selections no longer appear in menus in IDz V14.1.7
 after migration.  This happens when the Menu Manager actions
are stored in the workspace location.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • IDz has been updated to correctly pick up menu selections when
upgrading from prior releases.
