* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
* Apply corrective PTF when available.                         *

A possible ABEND0C4 or ABEND04E may occur after installing Db2
APAR PH10828 (PTFs UI64262/UI64259).  The ABENDS are caused
due to uninitialized parameter storage that is used by DSNIXMSI.

Possible ABEND symptoms for this problem include, but are not
limited to:
- ABEND0C4 in DSNIXEPL.DSNIXMSI
- ABEND04E RC00D31011 in DSNLILLM.DSNLVCLM

Problem conclusion

  • Db2 has been modified to correctly initialize the parameter
storage.
