APAR status

Error description

  • When running web agents with IBM Java, web agents fail and
    suddenly disconnect with the following exception:
    
    io.netty.util.internal.OutOfDirectMemoryError: failed to
    allocate ### byte(s) of direct memory
    

Local fix

  • Include the following java flag: -Dio.netty.maxDirectMemory=0
