  ABEND0C4 RC38 at DSNXOSJO OFFSET3DB8 can occur on queries when
  the following conditions are met.
  
  (1) the STARJOIN subsystem parameter is turned on
  (2) A set of tables join to one dimension table, which joins
  to the fact table.
  (3) Within the set of tables in (1), there exists LEFT JOIN
  (4) Within the set of LEFT JOIN tables in (3), there exists
  no sargable JOIN predicates
  
  When the conditions above are met, ABEND0C4 RC38 at DSNXOSJO
  OFFSET3DB8 can occur because Db2 may fail to generate an
  access plan.
  

Problem conclusion

• PH14404 fixes the abend by generating a cartesian join access
  plan among the tables described above.
