Error description

• ABEND04E RC00E70005 at DSNXOALS M200 when there are over 999
  references of the same alias name.

Local fix

• Modify the sql to specify an explicit correlation name for each
  reference of the alias.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * ABEND04E 00E70005 at DSNXOALS M200 can                       *
  * happen for an SQL statement that                             *
  * contains more than 999 alias which                           *
  * reference the same base table.                               *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  * Apply corrective PTF when available                          *

  An example is shown below:
  
  CREATE ALIAS A1_T1 FOR STLEC1B.SYSADM.T1;
  
  SELECT A1_T1.C1 FROM A1_T1, A1_T1,....
  
  Alias A1_T1 is referenced more then 999 times.
  
  Db2 did not correctly process the aforementioned SQL statement
  and can result in ABEND04E 00E70005 at DSNXOALS M200.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 has been modified to correctly process the aforementioned
  SQL statement.
