    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 01.In IBM Developer for z Systems -     *
    *                         When a CARMA re-start is attempted   *
    * and fails, more attempts to *
    *                         re-start are needed.                 *
    ****************************************************************
    01.When the Repository Access Manager (RAM) fails and results
       in a need for CARMA to re-start, a single re-start attempt
       is not enough because of timing issues. More attempts to
       re-start are needed.

Problem conclusion

  • 01.The IBM CARMA server has been changed to attempt to restart
       more than once in order to give the RAM an opportunity to
       recover.
