APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This defect is related to ClearQuest Eclipse Client and
  ClearQuest Eclipse Designer, only.
  
  This confuses the user that they think that we are using 9.0.0
  instead of 9.0.1.
  
  Below are the steps to show you the defect.
  
  1.When we open the ClearQuest Eclipse Designer, we can see that
  the version indicated is 9.0.0
  But after loading the application and checking the version, we
  can see that the version is 9.0.0 then the Build is 9.0.1.06.
  
  2.When we open the ClearQuest Eclipse Client, we can see that
  the version indicated is 9.0.0
  But after loading the application and checking the version, we
  can see that the version is 9.0.0 then the Build is 9.0.1.06.
  
  The correct behavior should be: When opening the ClearQuest
  Eclipse Client and ClearQuest Eclipse Designer, we should see
  that the version indicated is 9.0.1 and after loading the
  application and checking the version
  (Help > About IBM Rational ClearQuest), we should see that the
  version is 9.0.1 then the Build is 9.0.1.06.
  
  Note: ClearQuest Windows client, ClearQuest Windows designer,
  ClearQuest Maintenance Tool and ⠜clearquest -version⠝
  command doesnâ ™t have this behavior and all of them display the
  correct information about the ClearQuest version.

Problem conclusion

• The version number on the splash screen for the ClearQuest
  Eclipse Client and ClearQuest Eclipse Designer has been fixed to
  say 9.0.1.
  A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.0.1.8.
