Error description
This is the same situation from APAR # PI73017 (UPDATE THE MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ 2005 REDISTRIBUTABLE) and APAR # PI97362 (REMOVAL OF MICROSOFT VC++ 2008 FROM CLEARQUEST AND CLEARCASE) The main goal is: Remove the Microsoft VC6, VC7 and VC7.1 that is shipped as part of the ClearQuest install package for Windows. Several customers reported a vulnerability captured by their scan systems, in regarding to these redistributables and they need to remediate the vulnerability.

Problem conclusion
A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.1.0.1. Microsoft VC 6, 7, and 7.1 Redistributables have been removed from the installation for CC/CQ 9.1. This will not be fixed in 9.0.x. Please upgrade to the 64-bit 9.1.x release to get this fix.
